Linda celebrated Valentine’s Day this year in a very special way by visiting and supporting her Local British Heart Foundation shop at 60 Cornwall Street Plymouth. Linda wrote
a message on a heart shaped love note for the charity which was posted in the British Heart Foundation shop window.
Linda was very pleased to show her support for the BHF in this way – her aim was to encourage the people of Plymouth to support the Valentine's Day Appeal by visiting the shop
or by visiting bhf.org.uk.valentine to write a Love Note or make a donation, and in so doing to raise awareness of the work of the British Heart Foundation and of the many people living with heart
disease in the UK
2.6 million adults in the UK are living with heart disease. The British Heart Foundation aims to raise £1 million to fund BHF Heart Nurses and the Charity’s Heart Help Line to
care for and support more heart patients and their families.
Clearly the work of the British Heart Foundation and our local BHF shops goes on all year round – but it is especially good to celebrate their good work and draw attention to
their important aims on such a significant day in our calendar.
