Over the last few weeks Plymouth Sutton MP Linda Gilroy has been accepting nominations for Plymouth's entry into national competition to find the Country's best South Asian
Restaurant.
She is pleased to announce that the Baba Indian Restaurant of Bretonside will represent the City.
Those that nominated the restaurant cited the friendly and efficient staff together with the daily fresh food, prepared with local organic meat and vegetables.
Linda said "The restaurant has submitted a menu and may receive a mystery diner. If shortlisted from there it will be invited to take part in a cook-off event".
The winner of the Tiffin Cup will be announced later this year. The successful restaurant will receive a year's supply of Cobra Beer as well as the 2008 Tiffin Cup
itself.
